    Pavlik isnt going to win

I don't get why people keep on saying that Pavlik is going to beat down Jermain. I mean dont get me wrong I do hate both these fighters but its idiotic to think that kelly is going to bust Taylor up... Jermain fought world class fighters (even though he did go threw a rough patch against his last few opponents) but I still think he has what it takes to beat Pavlik who's only credible win was against Miranda (who wasnt feeling good at fight night).. And to make things worse Miranda is the biggest one dimensional fighters ever! There isnt going to be any excitement in the Pavlik/Taylor fight because Jermain is just gonna run and win a UD.

    Kelly who?

Kelly the guy with huge power who likes to come foward, against Taylor the guy who forgets to jab backs up lost to cory spinks and is inactive in too may rounds.

Kelly will outwork Taylor, to a tough but pretty wide UD. Taylor doesn't throw enough punches period. And If Miranda couldn;t drop Pavlik with a right, no way Taylor can.

Taylor can't run against Pavlik, he apply's to much pressure. Plus Taylor isn't that quick on his feet.

I'm guessing you've only seen the Miranda fight... That fight was very personal, and Pavlik decided to go all out, no defense. His defense is better than he showed in that fight, his jab is quite good, he has huge power, and very good balance and footwork.

TO say he has no chance at all and that he's a bum shows that you really don;t know boxing.

I'm not a big fan of Taylor because I've only been able to watch his last few fights which as we all know were horrible to watch. But even fighting horribly he did beat Bernard, which is waaaayyyy more than you can say for pavlik.

        Styles make fights buddy...

In those fights Bernard was a slick counterpuncher. He didn;t press the action, and he let Jermain stay in the middle of the ring. In the Winky Wright fight, Winky exposed a weakness in Taylors game. Pressure throws him off. It also seems that when he is pressured he gets rid of his jab. When a guys pressuring him he forgets all his technique, goes straight back, throws one punch, and stays of the ropes for far too long.

Pavlik is a pressure fighter with a solid jab, who has some serious power and a serious chin. Sounds like a nightmare for Taylor style wise.

No excitement in Taylor Pavlik??? This is probably the most exciting matchup of the year, next to Kessler-Calzaghe and Cotto-Mosley.

Taylor, by maybe round 4 or 5, will have no choice but to slug it out with Taylor.

The action is gonna be tremendous

Taylor is too much of a seasoned fighter for Pavlik.... It's that simple.

In what ways? I think it is pretty self-explanatory. Taylor has fought greats like Hopkins and Wright. He knows all the tricks in the book. I personally think he won't let Pavlik do to him what he did to Miranda, I think that is least likely. And Pavlik has never fought someone as experienced as Taylor, the best fighter he fought was an overrated Miranda. This is the biggest test Pavlik has in his career.

thats exactly what i mean. nobody was saying nothing about pavlic before he beat Miranda. now all of a sudden people think hes the next middleweight champ? Taylor is the more polished fighter with the better skills. Miranda has no boxing skill so he cant fight going backwards. thats why pavlic just ran over him with his pressure. yes pavlic has the ability to beat Taylor, but i don't think it will happen. i think pavlic will have some good moments in the fight but i see Taylor pulling out a majority decision and showing his boxing skills and experience.
