He should, but for his own personal gain he needs to ask for a **** load of money against vernon. I don't think anyone favors Mayorga to beat Vernon if there is a third fight. Mayorga could talk so much **** about how he would beat Vernon again, but I don't even think he'd believe his bs this time. Forrest is leaps better then Mayorga now.

Vernon would destroy him, Vernon had problems with his arms when he fought Mayorga and it's pretty obvious that isn't a lie from vernon since we saw him literally destroy a guy with granite chin

Vargas is ridiculous, and Mayorga has the style to beat Vargas. And I really believe Vargas chickened out. People say other wise because Vargas stepped into the ring with Mosley and Oscar. But Mayorga hits hard as hell and is one scary dude, not the best boxer in the world but whos to say Vargas is a great boxer because hes not either. Both entertaining. Vargas got scared in my opinion, and I agree with dino which is odd because I don't really care for most of the opinions dino has but I can agree with him on this opinion. Well you gotta remember that Mayorga is the ONLY man to have ever beaten Forrest. Avenging those losses with an impressive win, would mean a lot for his legacy.

Its a fight i would love to see, and considering Vernon comes into the ring healthy, i think he takes it by late round stoppage. He'd want that stoppage badly, and with Mayorga a bit shot, and considering how hardcore the Vargas fight is, even more shot, he can definetly tear Mayorga apart

He might have... but he didn't win 7 of the rounds convincingly, so it's hard to fault the judges, considering how much harder Mayorga hits than Forrest.

And I believe vernon was still screwed up in his arms in the second fight. Now imagine mayorga fighting a 100 percent vernon. I will actually say vernon ko's mayorga if they had a third match. And Mayorga won't take a 3rd match because he knows he'll get ko'd
