    Vargas' Condition Explained!

    Vargas' condition explained!

    Sunday, August 26 2007

According to Fernando Vargas' nutritionist Robert Ferguson, the blood disorder and iron deficiency that caused Vargas' fight with Ricardo Mayorga to be postponed was not a deficiency in iron from his food. "What everyone doesn't know is that Vargas' iron deficiency is due to a loss in blood from the sores on his stomach," wrote Ferguson in an email to *********.com. "This diagnosis is per the stomach specialist (physician).....anemia is not an overnight phenomenon unless something odd happens. Well, that something odd is internal bleeding and when you lose blood you can face many health challenges."

Isn't the condition as described by Ferguson called a stomach ulcer?

Of course his condition is caused by losing blood. Losing blood to a needle and bag, to be reintroduced at a later time.

Ulceration of the stomach is a common side-effect of steroid use.

If this is the case, then Vargas' steroid use was more profound than previously revealed.

This will likely be followed by kidney problem and perhaps liver damage.

Precisely. It's time for Vargas to retire, I can't possibly see him beating anybody with this news. Let alone a wild power puncher like Mayorga. If he continues to fight he's only going to hurt his health even more.

You know, a certain part of her pic put me in the mood for a Hershey Kiss. (The tit.)

I really like Vargas but also feel he should retire. I did not know about the ulcer or steroid use; is it for real? Guess it's another tragic example of why to not do those things.

Vargas is a wreck.. He has no business fighting.

As I have said before his immune system no longer functions properly.

That was quite evident after the first fight with Fernando Vargas..
