Yeh he definatly has to be in top 10 p4p,i was amazed how skillfull he is,he reminds me so much of Pernell Whitaker,i heard the announcers say Cazares weighed the size of a featherweight on fight night

Both fought a great fight, I just got back from there and it was wild as hell. IMO Cazares lost the fight on the scales. He finally caught up to Calderon on the 7th rd and beat him up for a couple rounds since Calderon stopped throwing and started running, then Calderon stepped it up on the 11th and 12th to take it.
The Rocky Martinez vs Azuquita Jimenez fight was insane!

lol...i saw the first 6 rounds only, but after that it was obvious that if calderon wins it was decicision, and if the other guy wins it was cos he got calderon with a big punch.

btw, calderon is a grea boxer, is a shame he is so short, cos if he was bigger he would be one of the top p4p imo.

actually bishop2006 scored 4 rounds for cazares and another 2 were labelled close. not surprising you get an sd.

I'm all for judging to be based on a number of factors, but making someone miss isn't one of them, unless you counter effectively. The way some of you guys drool over someone dodging punches is weird.

Anyway, thanks for the fight desription fella, good work.

i think you saw it more exciting because ypu were there and honestly all guys tat are saying it was a good fight are just saying that cus tey were caught up in the hype, calderon frustrated wild as **** cazares for 7 rounds and the only reason there was drama was because calderon couldnt keep it up and started to get caught....i think any fast miniflyweight with good power could give ivan touble in the later rounds...
