I agree with every pick he's made and here's why:
To pick against Mayweather is tantamount to saying pigs can fly. Mayweather is the best in the sport, hands down, and his skills, speed, and power will keep Ricky on his heels all night long. Some might question his power but look what he did to the last Jr. Welterweight he fought (Gatti) and the first Welterweight he fought (Sharmba), both about the size and build of Ricky Hatton. Of course he couldn't hurt Baldomir and Oscar, two fighters renown for their beards, but his power will be evident when he steps in the ring with a fighter who is actually his size.
Cotto is the younger, hungrier fighter who has not yet learned how to lose. His heart is unquestionable, his will indomitable. Couple that with the fact that Mosley hasn't looked good at WW since he fought Adrian Stone six years ago and had a less than stellar performance against Estrada and Cruz, two slow plotters who took Mosley the distance, the latter actually winning four rounds out of 10. Cotto's body attack makes the difference in the fight.
Barrera is the older fighter but his first fight against Pac could arguably be called a fluke. Look how good he's looked in every fight since, even having a disputed loss to JMM. Pac, on the other hand, has let success go to his head and has not been focused in training. I see his lack of focus coming to bite him in the ass. Marco will not **** with him like he did the last time but will use the game plan he used in the second Juarez fight to easily outpoint Pac. Barrera by wide UD.
Taylor is the undisputed MW champ of the world. Need I say more? The guy beat Hopkins twice and drew with Winky. Who's Pavlik compared to these two sure-fire hall of famers? Yes, Pavlik has the power that B-Hop and Winky lack, but Taylor's jab will be the difference in the fight. Pavlik will be frustrated when he can't get inside on Taylor and will therefore telegraph his punches and get sloppy. Look for Taylor to capitalize on this, counterpunch his arms off, and win by TKO late in the fight.
Joe Calzaghe has had a slew of hand problems in the past. I don't believe this fight will be any different. Kessler will take advantage of the slap-happy Calzaghe's lack of punching power (due to his brittle hands) and will walk him down and eventually grind him down. Kessler has power and Joe's chin has really never been tested by a fighter in Kessler's caliber. Kessler's accuracy and power become an insurmountable obstacle for Joe who eventually has to quit on his stool in the 11th round.
There you have it. Agree or not, at least I've defended my points of view with facts and based my opinion on them.Comment

he is wrong on the kessler, cotto, mayweather and barrera, im sorry teddy,
kessler idk he will be in trouble once he faces a boxer that can out box him,
the same goes with cotto and his chin won't help him,
mayweather we all know is gonna run and he better not tire,
and barrera will not get past pacquiao, too strong too fast, too many anglesComment
