i'm pretty sure robin reid's punches hurt him in their fight, when reid's right hand landed on calz' the sweat was flying off him

Depends what you mean by hurt, I've certainly seen him close to being out on his feet, but that was off fatigue more than due to being hurt. I dont think that I've ever seen him properly hurt from a punch, no. Not even the two times he went down.

Yes he has been Hurt and even down at least once against Byron Mitchell..

the only problem with Hurting Calzaghe is.. It also hurts his pride.. and I think the guy doesn't like being embaressed..because everytime he has been hurt.. The fight is usually over not long afterwards..
And well Calzaghe is undefeated.. So I think you get the point..

I was never sure if he was hurt or not. He was back up at the count of 1 pretty much.

it's a shame that he has brittle hands. if he didn#t then i think a fair few more of his fights would have ko's or tko's. when you know you have weak hands i guess you don't want to over power your shots because it's your livelihood.
