The truth about Mayweather-Castillo, Mayweather - De La Hoya

Castillo clearly beat Mayweather. I have watched this fight ten times. And no way can it be scored a Mayweather win. I have the utmost respect for Mayweather and think hes a supremely gifted fighter, the best in the world at the moment, but he didn't win that fight. As i have posted on my blog, the only reason i can see him winning is promotions and the ugly side of boxing.

As for the De La Hoya fight. De La Hoya has to be the laziest fighter in the late rounds, he had the chance to close it out from the 9th round on wards. And he stopped jabbing. Even amateaur boxers would have continued to jab. And all that not the night of the jab stuff, just tells me hes not mentally switched on for all 12 rounds. So De La Hoya only had himself to blame as coming into the 9th he was up by 2 rounds. Anyone who disagrees can watch the fight again. And in the last four rounds Mayweather wipped him.

Mayweather is a world class fighter. But the Castillo win can be put down to nothing that i can work out, but something i don't want to work out. If you catch my drift (having boxings interests on the line). And De La Hoya practically gave Mayweather the belts, and damaged his own legacy.

De La Hoya is one of my favourite fighters. Yet he is going to continue to fight for another 3 or 4 years, which is not a problem. The problem is him fighting only once or twice a year. Hes just asking for ring rust. And damaging a great legacy, one of the greatest legacies. As we speak he should be fighting Forrest. And then lining up a massive name next year.

Thats all for me, i hope you enjoy the read. Cheers everyone

Mayweather's arm was busted going into the Castillo fight, he proved that in the rematch!

Don't be surprised if 90% of the people here jump on your back and talk **** about you for posting the truth. It's obvious to anyone that knws me that I like and respect Floyd but Castillo taxed his ass in their first fight. The second one I thought was a clear Mayweather victory, but Castillo got robbed the first time out.

Yes i agree i was talking about the first fight. If people jump on my back about the first fight it is a waste of time even debating it with them. I have seen thousands of fights in my life, and Castillo easily won that fight. No way in which Floyd won. The rematch well it was a different story. But no way Floyd won that won. The only thing i can think of is promotion, and all the money to be lost if Floyd lost, which i hate to think because i love our sport, but it could be the truth, as mentioned thousands of times before.

I know how to score a fight, in fact i have scored many domestic level fights. Floyd Lost that fight fair and square. It was one of the easiest fights to judge in recent memory.

Some of Floyd's fans here are actually intelligent and levelheaded dudes, but most are teenage ******s who are big into the hiphop scene and never even watched boxing. Hell, they probably never even watched Floyd fight prior to his fight with Henry Bruseles. Most of those dudes like to think that the first Castillo fight never happened.

Anyway, welcome to the site man. I'm picking Pavlik over Taylor as well.

Yes good choice mate. Pavlik is just a hard het, you know hes gonna give it his all. Whereas i think Taylor is the most mentally weak fighter in boxing at the moment. Sometimes he is super hot, other times he is super cold. Yeh i reckon the Floyd fans are 50 cent fans or something lol.

Whats your education level mate, did you even finish primary school. Castillo won the first fight. Let it be. Millions of dollars ride on this stuff, and people love the sport, yet they don't know how Mayweather won. Your comment was both uneducated and disgraceful. Don't call me a *****, this is why i don't post that much on boxing forums because there is people with the education level of babies, like you.

Saying Mayweather won that fight or to let it go, is cheating the boxing public. People who love the sport, and put a lot of money and effort into following it. Please if i have been to hard smarten up next time or don't reply to my comments.

This is a moot point. Those fights are long over with. The judges have made their decision. It's time to move on.

It's funny how what you BELIEVE is the truth but what other people believe isn't. That's very egotistical, bro.

Castillo didn't get robbed. He was on the wrong side of a close fight that could've gone either way. I scored the fight a draw but thought that Castillo was going to get the nod until they read the decision. However, Floyd had claimed he was injured and showed in the second fight that he wasn't 100% in the first one. That's the mark of a true champion right there.

The only TRUTH is that Mayweather won both fights against Castillo and his fight against DLH. I only scored 3 rounds for Oscar the whole fight! Mayweather gave him a boxing lesson AND a lesson in conditioning.
