    why did mayweather choose hatton??

i think mayweather wants hatton because he is the easiest fight of the superstars he could have faced. mosley cotto williams are true wetlerweights who would knock mayweather out. that is why he instead goes to the 140 division to find his next opponent. this is just another example of the type of coward that mayweather is. he is afraid to fight the best.

he wants an easier fight to beef up his record and to say "hatton is great fighter in his prime"......pffft

You know what I find peculiar about you Viva Mexico....you start all these Mayweather-Hatton type threads, then in the next breath start a thread asking why there are so many Mayweather threads quoting

"why do people like to talk to so much about this man?? what is so interesting about a boxer who is nothing but a coward a ducker and a dodger always looking to fight the easiest opponents??

You tell me....what is so interesting? Why do you continue to post on him? I can see how others on here find you annoying.

He wants a big fight. Hatton fans probably upped the ante even more for Floyd. The fight will definitely be a big draw. And Mayweather knows this and the fact that Hatton called him out and basically trashed his career gave him all the incentive he needed.

Also although Hatton has no chance in my eyes, he is an undefeated fighter with enough hype from his fans. He's also a no nonsense fighter who will try and win by any means. Plus Mosley turned down the November date because his tooth hurt. And Cotto hadn't proven he can beat an upper echelon fighter until his destruction of Judah.

You really don't know **** about boxing do ya? Hatton's the biggest fight out there because 1) Hatton's undefeated 2) Hatton has a huge fan base and will sell alot of tickets and ppvs and 3) Hatton's a pretty damn good figher who's in his prime....

Hattons closer to Mayweathers natural weight class. Cotto's naturally bigger then Mayweather and so are forrest and mosley. The easiest fight in his opinion is against a guy in his more natural weight class.

he is the easiest fight of the superstars, but also the biggest superstar. It had to happen eventually, I think the timing is right.

Because Hatton is the one bringing the more money right now. And IMO the toughest fight until we see more of Williams.

Mosley could not fight Mayweather last year because he had a toothache.

Williams right now brings two bucks to the table... not much

Cotto never even said the word "Mayweather" until two weeks ago, after Mayweather signed to fight Hatton

He's a very big draw, plus he's got an outstanding record of 43-0.
