Until just a little while ago.. when a sudden influx of Pimply faced 16 year olds who have been watching boxing for less than a year Came on here and wont shut the **** up about the guy.. This is BOXING scene.com.. Not Floyd mayweather.com.. .. See when you have a Bunch of people call you every name in the book because you dont agree with flawed and twisted logic..
And you get told you are racist or jealous because You refuse to suck Floyd's **** while you fondle his balls.. He's killing boxing. Now that everybodyknows his gameplan for every fight, his ppv sales are gonna plummet. DLH-PBF was prolly the 2nd or 3rd worst fight this year all b/c someone thought it was a track meet. All that **** talk and the ***** runs the whole match and scores a controversial split decision.

a) Mayweather's problem is.. at lower weight classes people expect wars!
MAB / Morales
Vazquez / Marquez
Gatti / Ward
Castillo / Corrales
etc... Mayweather doesn't produce these exciting fights. But hey, like I said.. I don't blame him

b) He is doing the right thing now... Megafights is the way to go. If he beats Hatton, I'd expect him to face the winner of Cotto/Mosley.. He wins that fight, he wins both these fights, retires undefeated, he is a legend in my eyes (a ****y legend, but a legend)

a) And he gave you exciting fights at 130/135/140....right? He was a straight hunter against guys his size. But how many "wars" do you see at 147/154? Think back to some of the biggest fights at this division. Trinidad/Oscar.... SRL-Duran2.... SRL-hagler (@ 160). Hardly "wars", right?

And the times that guys allowed themselves to be dragged into slugfests, it turned out to be idiotic: Vargas in front of Trinidad... Forrest in front of Mayorga. I say that you fight smart first, entertain second.

Yeah, all ONE fights that you have seen in the eight months that you have followed the sport.

That influx you talk about was dual-pronged. It brought PBF both fans and detractors. Nobody can tell you to be a fan. That is a visceral thing that you can't 'force'. But when you hate someone, there SHOULD be a pretty fair reason. And the charges of racism/jealousy/whatever arise when the reasons given are 'suspect'.
