Floyd moved up to welter and EVERYBODY knew he was gonna fight Judah. Right? So PBF took a speedy southpaw to prep for a speedy southpaw.

Then Judah lost. So PBF was stuck for fights. This was january, 2006 and PBF needed an April opponent.
NOBODY was saying "Clottey, Cintron or Williams" at that time. So PBF was faced with either fighting baldo, or Judah. The only other name ( @ WW) that surfaced was Margarito, but he had ******* Gomez in late feb.

That was BEFORE Cintron fought Estrada. (fresh off his tearful Margarito)debacle

That was BEFORE Clottey fought margarito. (or ANYBODY)

That was BEFORE you even knew who Williams was.
