QUESTION: CAN Pacquiaos popularity in the states be traced back to TYSON-LEWIS??

He fought in one of the undercard fights. Dominated and won in exciting and impressive fashion.

You had, at the time, the most PPV buys and the biggest boxing Audience possible.

Everyone watching HAD to have fallen in love with him, whether or not they stayed that way. He fought again 4 months later.

What do you think about that? It was all they back in 2002, true, but it was only a year before he destroyed Barrera.

    Maybe.

Although it was a smaller audience, US boxing fans saw him destroy Ledwaba on the DLH-Castillejo undercard. That got him back on HBO in November 2001, against A. Sanchez, on the Mayweather-Chavez undercard.
