How does Rocky Juarez get to face two greats nearly back to back?

First Barrera, now Marquez. Yet Rocky didn't do anything that showed he could box with Barrera when Barrera chose to really box. How's he suppose to go up against a grand master boxer like Marquez? Only thing I can think of is that, Marquez won't do the same thing Barrera did which was a weak jab himself to victory win. If Marquez does engage with Rocky, it could be an interesting bout. But still, how does Rocky get these chances?

Exactly. He's a legit contender, and a dangerous opponet but against someone with the skillset of a Barrera or Marquez he will likely falter.

Yeah, but I don't see anyone knocking out Marquez. If Manny couldn't get it done with 3 very discouraging knock downs in the first round, I don't see how anyone can. That alone would have broken most fighters spirit/mentality/physicality. I mean you think your done already and the fight just began. To have such mental toughness to get through that and salvage a draw is something not many possess.
