True. And it all really depends on what weight its at. At 147 Mayorga was a beast. I think mayorga would beat vargas anyday at 47 or 54 . But this fight at 162 is the worst possible situation for mayorga.

But Mayorga giving Cotto respect? I doubt it. Remember, he didn't give Trinidad respect at 160 in his first fight there moving up from 147. Mayorga's body is vulnerable though. That would probably be the key to the fight for Cotto.

A lot of people saying Cotto KO's him with body shots. Well, Mayorga may have a weak body, but we all know he throws very powerful punches, and Cotto's defense is sub-par. When Mayorga knocked out Lewis and Forrest, he did it early, and did it with mixing shots to the head and body. If he landed his power punches to the chin of Cotto early, this fight would be over.

Mayorga once said that De la Hoya's punches hurt him more than Trinidad's, and I do not see Cotto even hitting as hard as Trinidad, let alone DLH, so it is a very big possibility that Mayorga could go the distance.
