    Could Tito Surprise Us?

It looks like he has no chance in hell of beating RJ or even surviving the fight. He never even seemed like a real MW, let alone a 170 pounder.

However, Tito is a tall guy and is always big outside the ring. He got even bigger in retirment. Thats why Im wondering is it possible that 170 is actually more natrual for him now and he can look quicker and stronger at that weight? I think part of the reason why he came back was because he saw how good Hopkins looked after jumping from MW to LHW and he thinks that may be best for him also

It's good thinking but I say no. It's not like he put on the weight through proper training like Hopkins. He has just ate his way up there. He's been out for 3 years. He's gonna be rusty. Plus he's facing Jones coming off of two impressive looking wins. And in both wins Jones proved he can now take a good shot on the chin. The size advantage is apparent. And Roy is a former heavyweight but at 38 his speed is still impressive.

Now I think Tito can look god at times in this fight. Especially in the early rounds where Roy goes to the corner. I believe Tito can land a few good shots while Jones is covering up. But then I expect Roy to counter off the ropes and then push the fight to the center of the ring.

I think tito is a great fighter but its a far to big of a step up.
He was ko'd by hopkins who doesnt hit hard and he had his head boxed of by winky. Neither in my opinion are as good as roy. Roy is a beter boxer than hopkins and wink plus he hits alot harder than both put together, so i only see this fight going one way. I dnt even think tito has a punchers chance of winning as he's to gone up to much to carry his punch. plus he's extremly rusty after 3 or so years out after a loss.

Has Tito And His Team Found Somthing In Roy That Tells Him He Can Win..................i Think So Plus This Will Put Him Over The Hopkins Loss Cause Jones Beat Hopkins In Their Primes..............that Could For Him Boost His Confidence And Everything Back Up

tito has a puncher's chance but that's about it, it all depends if jones can survive or has the stamina to outbox tito for 12 rds without getting caught,
like winky and b-hop those are the blueprints for jone's victory

I'm hoping he does...It would be awesome if he can beat Roy and then go down to 168 and fight the winner of Taylor-Pavlik. That would be sweet.

You have to remember that anything can happen in the sport of boxing. That said this is one of those situations where I'm almost 100% positive that it won't. Tito's never even been a natural Middleweight, let alone a Light Heavyweight. Add to the fact that he's been out of shape for years and I see him getting embarassed by Roy.

Im so disappointed in this fight. Tito had so many great options; Miranda, Pavlik, Taylor, and he chooses Roy? I don't think he has a chance in this fight. A punchers chance at best.
