At 140 why wouldn't floyd fight toe2toe? He has always at this weight.

Can he outthrow Mayweather and be more busier. And can he negate what Flyd wants to do. That's what it comes down to. But I say he won' be able to do it. He gets in ocsassionally and roughs up Mayweather a bit. And probably wins 3 to 4 rounds.
I SEE IT PLAYING OUT MORE EVEN THAN THAT.........

Floyd needs a guy like Hatton to bring out the best in him. It will be an awesome display. More exciting, more brillant than the gatti fight. Will definently be more of a fight and last longer than it but it will be much of the same.

So you think he will do better than Oscar did? Becuase I thought Oscar did good presuring throwing combos. And stopping some of Mayweather's offense. That's the big key. Hatton may be able to pressure better but he is nowhere near as much of a power threat as Oscar. And I don't believe Hatton has good defense to pick off some of Mayweather's shots like Oscar. Hatton defense is falling in and clinching to smother your attack. If Floyd keeps him outside he will look like he did against Collazo. And I fully expect that to happen.

I think so. I think this is the only FOTY candidate with Mayweather involved. And a FOTY with an 81-0 combined record would be the matter of legends.

I THINK HATTON IS GOING TO MAKE THIS FIGHT HARDER FOR FLOYD ....HE WILL SMOTHER FLOYD AND HIS PUNCHES WHICH WILL IN TURN MAKE FLOYD FIGHT HARD ......CAUSE THEN HIS PUNSHES WILL HAVE NO EFFECT BEING SMOTHERED SO I THINK FLOYD WILL TRY TO HIT HARDER OH AND I THINK DELAHOYA WON THAT FIGHT BUT IT DEPENDS ON WHO YOU ASK CAUSE I THINK IT COULD HAVE WENT EITHER WAY......I THINK JUDGES DIDNT WANT TO RUIN FLOYDS RECORD WHILE DLH ALREADY HAS A BLEMISHED RECORD SO WHY NOT JUST ADD ANOTHER

Oscar did a great job at trying to beat oscar, but not as good a job of bringing out some heart in mayweather because mayweather was so scared to throw something meaningful. Hatton will not be as fearsome to him and therefore Floyd wont be so timid.

I think Floyd showed tremendous heart fighting with an injured hand vs Castillo, that being said, he lost that fight...
