I like this kid but he doesn't fight anyone or enough..

yeah i hope so im from san jose and i my coach is family friends iwth the guy.

all of his opponents from the start were over .500 except for late replacement julio jean, so qualitys not a problem.
i do agree about him not fighting enough though. he broke his hand last year and rarely fought that year. this year hes fought what like 3 times? had that spectacular KO of francisco diaz.
he's most likely fighting again on september 13th then might get another fight in november.
virgill hill, his trainer, says theyre not gonna push for a title till he gets at the very least 20 fights under his belt. theyre predicting 2008 or 2009.

Two guys confuse me:

Andre Ward and Rock Allen.

I believe that Rock is with GBP. I have no idea whey we aren't seeing him on the undercards of GBP fights.

what confuses you about andre ward?
and ward was supposed to be on hbo when he fought diaz they just had that terrific card with gatti-gomez and margarito-williams so they just showed highlights.

Ward looks good, but he has already been rocked (and I think floored) against supposed lesser competition.

We'll see if that's a sign of things to come, or just an interesting footnote to his career when he becomes a champ...

yeah i hear he got knocked down against boone and rocked by kenny kost who was undefeated at the time and still won the round that he got rrocked in.

Ive seen Ward fight before,he has skills,i think he had big weight problems making middleweight,weight can effect u alot,that could have played in him being knocked down,in 2007 he moved up to light heavy,he said he feels natural at the weight,and so far hes KO'd all 3 of his opponents at that weight

It's hard to say as he hasn't fought many top ranked UK fighters. As any self-respecting boxing fan knows, when American up-and-comers/World Champions fight the best of British they either return to their fast food jobs showing early signs of mentall illness (Jeff Lacy) or have 24 home help, particular when it's to time "go" (G-Man).
