After he lost against Sultan did he officially retire or is he planning a comeback? Anyways I was just wondering because the HW scene is so open that Briggs could actually KO one of the champs and get the belt again. Now don't get me wrong im not saying that he's a great boxer but he does pack 1 punch KO power. Very dangerous man for the 4 first rounds.

LOL he would get smashed silly by wlad. Wlad would box him till he's tired (after 2 rounds proberly) then ko with a straight right hand.

It's probably like the Vitali Klitschko calling out Lennox Lewis thing... Vitali really was retired at the time, and I don't think he was planning a comeback at that point, unless it was for the Lewis fight. Briggs is done, but would probably fight Wladimir if he got the chance.
