Arce vs. Gorres would be a great fight....But like I said, Gorres is the top Filipino fighter in the Jr. Bantamweight division, ranked 10 by the ring, and his win for the world cup was against a guy that was no where on the radar.

Arce has clearly shown to have problems w/ a slick southpaw in Mijares, that's what Gorres is. Gorres will have to step it up w/ the jabs and combos though to get a sure win. Apply a similar gameplan like Mijares did and it's almost a sure win for Gorres

Why would it matter? Juan Manuel Marquez did it all the time. Mijares isn't a big name yet, so him fighting Gorres wouldn't be a fight he'd refuse unless he had a big fight in line.

a champ usally fight in pre-main event or main event only if the event is married by many champions like the festival of champions as the even say then it okay and depending on the rating and publicity of the champions.

But for Mijares to fight opening fight like the 8 rounders it like an insult to his status.

there is many weekend they fight could take place and you know people have other stuff then boxing so they cant put all the fight in one day.

boxing is a sport people fight couple time a year maybe sometime just one or twice but on average it like 4 time
