    Williams beat Margarito. If he goes on and beats......

    two guys like cintron and clottey will he have a legitamite claim to face the top names like cotto and mayweather?

          Yes it does. We were asked if Williams beat Cintron and Clottey, would he be able to call out top fighters. I said yes, but stated that he needed to land punches first. He won't win by throwing pitty taps to the gloves against Cintron and Clottey, they will KO him.

                    Well, maybe it's just me, but I think that some judges actually do base their decisions on punches landed instead of just how many punches a guy threw. I think that is what was meant when he said that Williams needs to land some punches, which probably meant that he has to hit him hard (or accurately) enough that it is obvious that the punch landed and wasn't blocked.
