David Tua looks like he's getting himself into good shape. His power is still there. I think a fight between Peter and Tua would be awesome while it lasted. Who do you think would win. I think that the result would largely be decided on who can take the better punch. I actually think Tua would beat Peter. Don't get me wrong, I think Peter is the better overall fighter, just stylistically I think Tua would beat him.

I don't even see what the big deal about Peter is. Who has he beaten? He lost to toney who's not even natural heavyweight but toney was robbed the first time around. And then in the rematch he destroyed toney. Thats like the only real big name on his resume.

Don't get me wrong! I love Tua for his match against Ike! maybe one of the greatest HW battles of all time!! but..dude!!! its over!!!
Top 20.....ok....maybe some dude in the top 10.
But a real fight.....not even close..sorry....Breaks my heart, but like Evander..

I wouldn't say that yet. Sure he's a swarmer that had a few rough battles(not enough to finish a healthy man this soon) but he's still young, and still has his biggest gifts that allows him to beat opponents much more skilled than him because of his style. Peter could win a UD if he fights smart again, but if it becomes a Chin+Power+Heart vs Chin+Power+Heart fight, I'd have to go with David Tua.

I think this would be a slugfest from start to stop. If Peter could keep it at a very slow pace he might have a chance but there is no way he could go punch for punch with Tua. Tua would outland him 2 to 1 and win a lopsided decision. I'd like to see it though.

Peter is the fresher fighter. It will be another "phonebooth" fight, Peter out hustles him for a UD. However, I don't know how Tua's stamina is these days. Peter's is so-so. Personally I dont care for "phonebooth fights" too much.
