With all these fighters tied up, they should fight. I have a feeling Kermit would tea off on Paul. Margarito who's slow but has a heavy hand, was able to dig into Paul for 4 or 5 rounds toward the end of their fight. Paul's best defense is his height, but when faced with a guy with a chin and a fairly similiar reach, he does get tagged.

If williams uses his jab and keeps Cintron away from him he wins. If he lets just even one punch get through by Cintron then Cintron wins. I wish Cintron would win because I like the stronger brawler type to win, while Williams is just some lanky dude who uses his jabs to win fights which make it not very entertaing.

Even if PWill used the jab, cintron will walk right through it. Marg eventually figured that out, and Kerms got the advantage now of seeing marg do it. plus, kerm has walked through the jabs of estrada and suarez (before y'all jump on me, i know they dont have the greatest jabs), which are a lot stiffer than PWills gloves of tenderness.

PAUL WILLIAMS NEEDS TO MOVE UP A DIVISION HE IS TOO BIG FOR HIS WEIGHT CLASS! remember that?
Williams has no power at 147, do you really think 154 is a good idea?

I skipped over a bunch of posts so I'm not sure if this has been said yet but here are my thoughts. Cintron moves way more than Margarito. Margarito just stood in one place pressing on Williams. Cintron was hoping all over the place before he landed that crushing uppercut and cross on Matthyse. I gotta agree with Run w/ Knives in the fact that Cintron is probably the stronger man, though I'm by no means discrediting Williams superb ability to box. He has plenty of movement too. All in all, this fight needs to be made early next year. It would be a great way to kick off 08'.

Nothing Cintron does will make you forget that because you don't like him......period. So he cried, big ****ing deal. So did Margarito when he lost to your boy but I don't see you jockin' him. If Cintron does face either Margarito or Williams and wins, don't you go jumping on any bandwagons either.

I like Cintron, but his KO of a C level fighter in Mattyse has gotten way, way overhyped. You gotta love Paul Williams though, the guy has balls and when he starts to call out his man, you know he's going to get him. Williams has the mental make-up of a champion and was unflappable in his first big-stage fight against such a perceived to be feared man in Margarito. Cintron had his heart taken by Margarito and I see Williams frustrating Cintron and winning a clear UD, maybe even a late TKO.

Also, that right hand will not have the killer power on it against Williams due to the extra height. Once Williams neutralizes that right hand it will be a one way fight in Paul's favor cause he's going to rat tat tat tat tat tat his way to a UD.

paul needs to focus on beating cintron anf not worry about cotto and floyd. The one thing going against paul is that he doesn't have the ko power of a tommy harns to capture the publics imagination. the best route for him is to uinify with cintron to try and forca a fight with floyd or the cotto/mosley winner.
