I think Cintron takes Williams out, good fight. I heard that Quintana was going to fight Williams...

Let's not forget that Cintron also spars with Andy Lee (6'2), Jonathan Banks (6'3) and Wlad (6'6), while none of these guys move and are as active as Williams, adjustments would be made in camp. Also, I keep thinking of how Margarito's wider punches were finding the mark against Williams. Cintron's right is thrown laser straight and with a ton of power behind it so I can't see how Paul can avoid it the whole fight. However, if Paul can take THAT punch, he will win the fight by decision. My official prediction would be Cintron KO 9.

I'll make a statement right now, Cintron will never give up in a fight again like he did against Margarito. He didn't like the way it felt when he heard people say he had no guts and the next time he loses he'll fight dam near to the death before it happens. I've seen a loss effect some other fighters like this.
That being said, Cintron's opponents had better be very careful. With Cintron you have a guy who's kind of athletic, kind of fast and punches like hell. He is Dangerous with a capital D.
Williams better think about playing with somebody else. Where Cintron wasn't taking boxing all that serious before, now he has to prove something and he is DEADLY SERIOUS!

well espn the magazine did it too. you guys gotta understand. williams did something that other boxers couldnt do for a decade and that is beat margarito. only guy in the division that can make that claim no matter what. there was alot of talk of margarito fighting top names soon. who knows what marg could have done if he got past williams and cotto? who knows? williams derailed the margarito train.

If Williams can stay on the outside and use his height and reach advantage he can befuddle Cintron with hundreds of punches thrown per round, effectively cracking Cintron's offensive plan by stifiling him.

If Cintron can somehow find a way to get on the inside of Williams, he could easily land some devestating power shots flush on Williams' dangling chin.

If I had to pick I'd have to go with Cintron on a blindshot. I've been watching him for a while now and since he's gotten Steward onboard as his trainer he's shown an incredible amount of dedication and sacrifice that shows me he wants to be Champion. Williams, while I love watching him fight and respect his ability, doesn't have the chin needed to fight a guy like Cintron in my opinion.

wow you are funny. williams last two fights are matthysse and margarito and you think cintron is gonna do the job? why? his chin hasnt been tested enough. williams might make cintron look like a robot if they fight.

Williams seems to be ripping a page out of Margarito's book but I hope he doesn't take this "ducking me" **** too far. Williams better remember that in his division, while he's a Champion, there are much bigger names out there than his.

you love the sight of your own typing. didnt you read when Pun stated if they keep fighting top guys then fine, but they will have to face me at some point in 2008. I am beginning to see a flock of williams haters here and I dont know why? dude is mad humble and takes this sport seriously. why the hate fellas? I think its cuz these cotto, mayweather, mosley fans, etc see somebody as a threat to their favorite boxer. so they got to discredit this guy that came out of nowhere any chance they get.

I don't care if he beat Margarito. Tony is a good fighter, not a great one. Thats one win over one good fighter for Paul Williams. If the other guys have better options then he can wait. He doesn't get first priority over guys who have earned their way to the top. Thats bull****.
