Why does this article try and make it seem like Floyd is ducking Paul when in reality he took on the better, more accomplished fighter in a bigger fight?

Oh no wonder, seems like it is trying to make it out as "all the top fighters are ducking paul". People tend to forget when you are trying to make a name for yourself of course you call out the top guys. Floyd did it when he was younger, so did all the other greats when they first started out. Paul just has to take it one fight at a time.

These guys (margarito, williams) are both good fighter. Why call out floyd? Floyd is a great fighter who is a true welterweight. Meaning the night of the fight he comes in weighing 147. The two previously mention fighters come in skipping a whole weight class, and weighing in like a true middleweight. What middleweight couldnt beat a welterweight?

Cintron has already expressed intrest in fighting Williams as has Emmanuel Steward. It's an interesting matchup and would make for a damn great edition of "Boxing After Dark". If Williams can stay on the outside and use his height and reach advantage he can befuddle Cintron with hundreds of punches thrown per round, effectively cracking Cintron's offensive plan by stifiling him.

If Cintron can somehow find a way to get on the inside of Williams, he could easily land some devestating power shots flush on Williams' dangling chin.

If I had to pick I'd have to go with Cintron on a blindshot. I've been watching him for a while now and since he's gotten Steward onboard as his trainer he's shown an incredible amount of dedication and sacrifice that shows me he wants to be Champion. Williams, while I love watching him fight and respect his ability, doesn't have the chin needed to fight a guy like Cintron in my opinion.

I couldn't help but notice that either. Williams, while a damn good fighter is still unknown to most of the general public. Mayweather and Cotto are the top 2 guys in their division and are fighting other great p4p fighters this Fall. Williams seems to be ripping a page out of Margarito's book but I hope he doesn't take this "ducking me" **** too far. Williams better remember that in his division, while he's a Champion, there are much bigger names out there than his.

Williams and Cintron is a good match. Unification, two young champions, with only ONE loss between the two. The fight should be made, and I'd go with Williams, but not comfortably. Wouldn't be surprised if it were the other way around.

well, I don't think that 3 inches in height makes a big difference. What's the are length? Pllus Cintron ****s way louder than Williams. And to compare the Margarito that Cintron fought with the one that williams beat;Big difference. if Cintron was to fight Williams I pick Cintron in 3

Cintron certainly has more than a "puncher's chance". Anybody who would say that's Cintron's only chance simply knows nothing of Cintron post-Steward. Not to mention Williams is known to be unsteady on his feet, one good shot from Cintron while Williams is off balance could put Williams out cold.
