Paul Williams: "Cintron Has No Courage"

Los Angeles, CA – Paul “The Punisher” Williams, fresh off his victory over the 5-year reigning WBO World Welterweight Champion, Antonio Margarito, immediately challenged current WBC Welterweight World Champion, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Mayweather instead opted to fight the much smaller man in junior welterweight Ricky Hatton. Also on William’s radar was the WBA World Welterweight Champion Miguel Cotto who had already contracted to fight Margarito if he had been successful in his bout against The Punisher. As quickly as William’s hand was raised in victory, Cotto was as fast sidestepping Williams and, instead, signed to fight Shane Mosely in his next challenge. [details]

          Yeah that's a good matchup.

At this point in time I don't know if it would be one sided. Cintron hits really, really hard. He's like a light heavyweight fighting at welterweight.

Paul Williams is lanky tall at 6'1 or 6'2, Cintron is built like a Brick house at 5'11. You can see he's clearly the bigger man also.

I just think Paul can stay away and outbox him and as long as Williams has a good chin which I think he proved it's solid at the least against Margy, than he can survie and discourage and stop Cintron.I think Williams actual Power is underrated....he just dosen't throw right he tends to try and score rather than stop....at least in his first big fight.

See now this is what I like to see in a champion. I'm not saying he's the best ever or even the best today but the man wants to fight everybody. Hooray for someone calling out ALL the top names.
I can't bear the whole 'he ain't "fill in gap with pathetic reason" enough to fight me' rubbish. This is a man who rightly or wrongly sees himself as the best around and wants anyone with a reputation.
Until someone steps up and he backs down I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Why does this article try and make it seem like Floyd is ducking Paul when in reality he took on the better, more accomplished fighter in a bigger fight?
