Just rewatched Castillo/Mayweather first fight!!!

Castillo who fought PBF in their first fight is not the same one who fought Hatton.

People also forget to mention that he won the first Castillo fight with one arm, due to a torn rotary cuff. Then came back and beat him more decisively the next time. Castillo was also better and more accomplished then, then Hatton is now..

It seems apparant the only advantage Floyd has is speed and Castillo showed that aggresiveness can overcome Floyds speed.

First off that was a prime Castillo, so him being inferior to Hatton is a ridiculous statement. Second, i thought Castillo won as well, but Floyd beat him in the rematch pretty easily and said he wasnt 100% in the first fight, so your whole post is really irelevant. Lastly, at lower weights Castillo was the bigger man which had an effect. Hatton is probably bigger than Floyd as well, but Floyd has been fighting giants compared to what Hatton will be, so Im thinking a pretty easy fight for Floyd, and its not about nut hugging its about looking at facts and seeing Floyd is an amazing fighter.

did u bother to watch the second fight when floyd was injury free? castillo would have knocked hatton out if they had fought back in the day

I know it seems odd to say because it appears to defy logic but Mayweather was actually easier to pressure for some reason at lightweight. It appeared that Jesus chavez and JLC were better at being able to crowd him and cut the ring off than bigger guys like Gatti, Baldomir and Oscar. THe reason? I think it was because while he was a faster fighter at lightweight he was relatively not as fast because his opposition was generally quicker than it has been at higher weights with the exception of the Judah fight since Zab is a little quicker with handspeed than Floyd. While I think Floyd isn't the same fighter at 147 and 154 than he appeared to be at 140, there just aren't any guys that have the handspeed/Footwork/good chin combos that the guys he fought at 135 had.

Yup, and he'll do the same to Hatton. Hatton couldn't carry 2002 Castillo's jockstrap. The only thing Hatton can do better than what Castillo could do back in 2002 is hold and hug.
