People wank over Mayweather's win over Gatti, this is just the same, Oliveira has never been stopped before Hatton faced him. If you seen the whole fight it was a great performance by Hatton showcasing his boxing skills and workrate. There is no need for blind hate by hi******* the thread, comment on Hatton in this fight instead of posting sarcastic one liners making urselfs look like biased nubs. This fight was Ricky at his best, Oliveira is a good fighter who has beaten Phillips & Vivian Harris in the past.

Yeah nearly as good as Henry Bruselles, Phillip N'Dou, Arturo Gatti and Sharmba Mitchell!

The point was the quality of the performance, not the quality of the opposition.

Oliveira was a man who had broke CompuBox records for ammount of punches thrown, yet could barely get off a punch against Hatton!

          Hatton is real.
I think this just goes to show that Hatton has to the ability to nullify the work of the opponent. The performance was spectacular! Not many believed Hatton could stop Ray the way that he did. Brutally exciting and a more than DOMINATING performance. Hatton has the key features that WILL negate a speed boxer like Mayweather. Hatton is a master at distance and timing.

I was abso****inglutely amazed that Oliveira made 140 lbs somehow. I know the term "shot" gets thrown around here too much but Ray was completely shot at that point and must have ****ing starved himself and went on a week long coke binge to get down to 140.

He did look pretty harsh in that clip. Oliveira is a tough guy that doesn't fold but Hatton really digs in those hooks into you and that **** just drains you. I'm looking forward to the Mayweather fight, I just hope Hatton comes in at 143 tops in order to move the way he does at 140. This is a fight that Hatton could win if he moves his head more and makes it a street brawl like he did to Tszyu. Mayweather will not fight toe to toe, so it is up to Hatton to set traps and get Mayweather on the ropes and beat the **** out of his arms . If he does this , Mayweather will eventually lower his guard which will make Hatton's left hook more possible.

yeah but Gatti has the WBC belt, Phillip Ndou was good contender and threw many combos, Bruselles was an elimnator for the WBC belt, Sharmva Mitchelle wasa debut at 147 and tune up for Judah
