Sparring Partners...

well theres always the Williams-Margarito session that was brought up prior to their fight. Theres videos of Fernando Vargas in there with Ishe Smith and Peter Manfredo. Another video ive seen of a session between Margarito and Sergio Mora. Lots of videos out there, just seen one of Chavez and Chavez Jr going at it.

I also saw a very active session of Margarito and Rubio.

PBF said there are "tapes" of him scorching Zab in a four round session.

can you please send me the link for JCC/JCC Jr?

I have a VHS of Delahoya and Chavez sparring before the 1992 Olympics and Chavez played with Oscar... and dropped him for a flash knockdown with a short right hand. I was in camp with Roy Jones when he also had guys like Buster Drayton, Reggie Johnson, and Booker T. Word sparring with him, too. Sugar Ray used to spar with Quincy Taylor. Tyson sparred with guys like Oliver McCall and Greg page. I had a young Eric Harding as my main sparring partner when I fought Nunn. Later on Otis Grant had Eric in with him in camp for one fight. I sparred in training camps with guys like Sven Ottke, Roy Jones, James Toney, Otis, Pazienza, Ottke, Maske etc etc. Hagler used to use Buster Drayton and Boogaloo Watts, among many others.

you sparred with Sven Ottke what do you think of him as a fighter ofcourse, many guys in BS talk cramp on him without seeing his fight that is why i am asking

Did you help ready Roy for any specific fight? Or just more general gymwork?

Also, I have heard rumours that Lil Floyd was sparring with Pernell back when PBF was 16 years old. That would have been around the time that Pea was P4P king. Is that plausible?

I respect him so much that it is hard for me to raise my hand or voice to him.
