Has anyone ever talked **** to Mayweather? It seems to me PBF is the only one running his mouth before a fight so maybe Hatton is trying rile him up and get in his head. It could work then again it might not.......we'll find out on Dec 8th

I think Hatton is beating Floyd's mental game. Everyone gets angry and starts ranting about how they're going to beat Floyd. Hatton is just cracking jokes back and smirking.

And for the record Hatton is a much cleverer and funnier trash talker than Floyd "Buckle My Shoes" Mayweather.

        Keep reaching for hope dude,

Did you see hatton on uk tv last week?

He is nowhere near in shape yet, has he even started training?

He better start soon, seriously, i hope he knows who he is getting in the ring with.

from quotes I've read I dont think he's partaking in any 'mental tactics' rather stating what is obvious to most people.

You could train for six months and not be in any better shape than if you trained for three.

Yeah, but the idea of being a professional athlete is not to blow up to lighheavy in between fights and then boil down, but no excuses for hatton, he says he will win so lets see, me and you both know mayweather will already be in training for the fight,

Also mayweather hasnt said that much about hatton at all, hatton is the one doing alot of the talking right now, and going on tv and radio over here and talking more, which is fine, its promotes the fight, as long as he know floyd is in the gym thats okay.

I think Floyd done some smart matchmaking in this fight, its a nice fight to come back to boxing, hatton isnt a puncher and doesnt have the skill level of mayweather, not to mention mayweather's legacy could get better after this fight, im not saying ricky has no chance, but for floyd, its a big payday for what might not be alot of risk.

Hatton's job entails him being in peak physical condition when he steps in the ring on fight night, after making a weight limit the day before. He doesn't have an obligation to remain in good shape all year round. Mayweather also falls out of shape during the year, there's this myth that he is always training, it's nonsense.

Let's not forget that Roberto Duran was well known for blowing up between fights, and he is widely recognised as perhaps the greatest lightweight of all time.

                  1) Mayweather 'falling out of shape' involves him blowing up to a massive 150 Pounds. lol

                  2) Mayweather trains sporadically, he gets up the middle of the night and tells roger to get the pads.

                  3) Im not sure we should be comparing Duran to Hatton, hatton needs every advantage he can get against mayweather because in a boxing match he may get seriously hurt, its best if he stays in shape, i dont wanna hear any excuses after the fight about how ricky was ill (urango fight) or having weight problems (Collazo fight)

                    1. Mayweather stops training between fights just like every prizefighter does. He may not get fat like Ricky but every fighter is different. Hatton has identified that falling out of shape too much has harmed his performances and that's why he is looking to fight three times a year, and also why he is starting training for Mayweather four months out instead of his usual three.

                    2. Mayweather does not sporadically wake up his uncle to work the handpads when he isn't training. This is hype, just like when Tyson claimed to do 6000 situps a day.

                    3. Why not compare Hatton to Duran? Sure Duran is much more of a legendary figure and was better overall than Hatton, but both guys are come-forward hard-hitting fighters, both guys really display a desireto hurt their opponents in the ring, both guys have hugely underrated boxing skills, both guys have strong ties to home, both guys like to drink and eat too much, and both guys have pulled it together for their biggest fights.

Maybe by calling Mayweather boring - PBF may try and come forward and attempt to beat his ass instead of boxing on the back foot (no shame i think in that).

So..if that happens, thats great - cos i'm a Hatton fan. I think Hatton isn't scared of PBF - where as someone like DLH...always looked wary if you ask me.
