mayweather says hes going to stand toe-toe in like his last 4 fights and he never does instead he runs and throws 30 punches a round. ricky doesnt either because he just clinches after one punch. theyre both boring in their own way but ricky is a little more exciting.

i think this will be a boring ass fight.

The topic of this thread should be "CAN Hatton stand toe-to-toe with Mayweather?"

I guaran-damn-tee you that Mayweather hits harder than Luis "Lights Out" Collazo.

Seriously, Mayweather doesn't run, he just doesn't get hit. BIG difference.

        Willie Pep.. Doesn't get hit...
Oscar De la Hoya in the last third of his fight with Trinidad, when he could have closed the show impressively, instead choosing the risk the fight and victory in a fight he ended up losing, which at the time was the biggest fight of his life... Running.

At times, maybe alot hopefully, only because Hatton will make him, he's much faster and more adept with his feet than people give him credit for. It's one of the main things that makes this a good matchup stylisticly.

I guarantee he doesn't hit as hard as Kostya Tszyu, so what's your point?

floyd could stand toe to toe, but like he said against gatti, its not cool to get hit, so why get hit, make them miss make them pay! its that simple, thats what the ART of boxing is, if you wanna see people beat the **** out each other and blood everywhere, go watch gatti reruns of him gettin smashed or watch ufc man lol

and floyd is boring because he box's, would you rather see floyd win 1 title like say the WOJUDFHD title and defend it against, low level fighters then get in the ring with a old guy n beat him, then fight low levels again then fight another old guy? x

The aged Tszyu couldn't keep up with Hatton's pace. Obviously, Mayweather and Smokin' Luis Collazo could. The Floyd will be as strong in round nine as he was in round one.

Tszyu, at 36, was getting worn down. Mayweather won't be getting worn down.

Please notice that when Hatton fights a young, fresh fighter, he looks very mediocre. Urango, Collazo, etc. Espwecially in the second half of the fight, Collazo had Hatton SERIOUSLY hurt late in their fight, and Hatton spent the entire later part of the Urango fight just hugging.

And PBF is better conditioned than Sugar Juan Urango, or Marvelous Luis Collazo. THAT is my point.

Or should I be impressed by the stunning knockouts over Ben "The Greatest" Tackie, "Iron" Vince Phillips, and Eamonn "Hands of Stone" Magee?
