    Mayweather a Businessman

I have heard several arguments with those for Mayweather and those who oppose him, let me start off by saying PBF is a businessman.... probably one of the finest businessman around today. He has with the help of the media such as **********, Ring magazine, etc. catapulted himself as the man to beat and took a page out of LL Cool Js book by self proclaiming himself to be the G.O.A.T. (The Greatest of All Time) I will say this; the young man has some serious boxing skills but he has not fought the opposition to prove those superior skills since rising to the junior welterweight division and welterweight division. It should be noted that what he did previous to the junior welterweight division was phenomenal. Let me be frank for a moment and run through the laundry list: Henry "Who" Bruseles, Arturo "Granpa" Gatti, Sharmba "I’m trying to retire" Mitchell, “Super Underachiever” Zab Judah, Carlos “Feather Fists” Baldomir, and oh yes Oscar "Daddy Warbucks' De La "Only fights once a year" Hoya...two monikers cause he is twice ridiculous...get real people these were cunning business decisions by PBF but let's be factual for a second; Mayweather hasn't fought any young lions with merit in the welterweight division. It is like saying Mike Tyson is the greatest heavyweight of all time. Could it have been possible? Maybe at one time but Tyson did not fight the opposition needed to make that statement true when he was at his prime. The difference is that Mayweather does have the opposition to make that statement quite true but chooses otherwise. The sad part is everyone is on the bandwagon and if not buying it at least subscribing to the G.O.A.T. moniker. The welterweight division has got a plethora of fighters for him to prove he’s the G.O.A.T. Yet he decides to make another business decision and fight a junior welterweight who got schooled by a C+ or B- level fighter in Collazo. For those a little slow I am talking about Ricky “Hugmen” Hatton. PBF should call himself the B.O.A.T. Businessman Of All Time. Point blank, Mayweather has unparalleled skills in the sweet science but the jury is out when considering him to be the best until he fights formidable opponents in Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Paul Williams, Kermit Cintron, even Antonio Margarito, or at least unify all the titles to be called the man. If he doesn’t fight these guys than he will be remembered as a great talent but not the Greatest Of All Time.

How is fighting the best 140er, not fighting anyone at 140?

I dont think anyone considers Mayweather to be the greatest Welter of all time, if he is to be mentioned among the greats, it better be among the Lightweights.
