World boxing superstar and promoter Oscar De La Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions and co-promoter (along with the Golden Grain Promotions and the Seminole Warriors Boxing) of WBO heavyweight champion Sultan Ibragimov (21-0-1, 17 KOs), has congratulated Russian President Vladimir ***** on the successful selection of Sochi as the future host for the 2014 Winter Olympics and invited the Russian leader to attend the big Ibragimov-Holyfield showdown at the Khodynka Ice Palace in Moscow on October 13.
The letter was published yesterday on the official site of Professional Boxing Federation of Russia.

Honorable Mr. President *****,
It is a pleasure to cordially invite you to be my personal guest at the boxing event featuring the WBO Heavyweight World Champion Sultan Ibragimov as he defends his title against four time world champion Evander Holyfield on Saturday, October 13th at the Khodynka Arena in Moscow.
I understand that you have a passion for the sport of boxing and this would be a great opportunity for you to share this historical event with the thousands of fans at Khodynka Arena as well as with millions of viewers in over 150 countries throughout the world.
I would like to congratulate you on being chosen as the host nation for the 2014 Winter Olympics and I hope these games will fulfill all the expectations of pride and glory of Russia.
