I think a Caballero-Ponce de Leon rematch makes sense now. Caballero won handily last time in Panama, now they should do it here in the states as a WBA-WBO unification bout! It's been awhile since the first fight and Ponce de Leon should be able to make a real fight out of it this time.

Having said that, that Caballero guy is a freak at that weight and he'll always be a difficult fight for anyone. Ponce de Leon just needs to have a good game plan, learn from their first fight, and actually land some of those bombs of his on the Panamanian champ.

I telling you guy this guy is going to be something
He looked real bad against his last opponent, and yes I know he got fouled a lot. But my god, when it is the 11th round and the referee hasn't done **** the whole fight about, STOP ****ING LOOKING AT HIM AND DO IT BACK TO YOUR OPPONENT. If it's not a foul for him, it's not going to be a foul for you.

well each guy has his bad moments. He is better than mant mexician fighters but the problem is the television thing because fighters from other places have trouble making it big into the market but mexician fighters seemed to have the easier task.

another thing he is a good switch hitter that means he doesnt stay southpaw stance or orthrodox he could do it both evenly good

I have only seem him fight in that one fight. I'm sure it was a bad night, because that really wasn't championship caliber boxing. People tell me he whipped Ponce De Leon, so he obviously has some skills, not to mention an insane body at 122.

I saw the first Caballero-Ponce de Leon fight and Caballero won it clearly. Ponce de Leon showed a lot of heart, took some big shots, had a hometown crowd and ref to deal with and still finished the fight on his feet.

Other than that, I saw Caballero whip on Ricardo Castillo (Jose Luis' brother) pretty easily. Castillo did okay at times, but Caballero's height and reach were too much for him to overcome.

And then of course his last fight where he looked horrible. If he were to fight like that against Ponce de Leon in a rematch, I think Daniel would beat and probably foul him into submission.

Vazquez had a tough time with Gonzales I bet Caballero would give him a hell of a fight
