I'm not sure, but I'd say Johnson probably deserves a rematch. Nard's style has changed since they last fought.......he was much more merciless. Johnson's workrate might make the fight interesting, but I'd still bet on Hopkins winning a decision with better punches.

he is a good fighter but Clinton Woods won him before that.

as well as Tarver want a rematch but Tarver should go and fight Woods for his other title .

who is Zolt? he is rated pretty hight by boxing reporters at LHW

This is cheap stuff. Glen Johnson is only talking about old fighters who can make him a lot of money. There are plenty of young fighters who have been calling him out, and he never mentions them. I can see obvious signs of slippage in Johnson, and a slick fighter would expose him.

very true, and he has to understand the public dont want to see him in "big fights" against names, at least i dont so those names hes calling have no reason to bite. im fine if i never see him fight again he gains no interest for me.

You would think Roy would be salivating over a rematch, but I guess not.

Why would Glen Johnson be calling out Roy Jones, a guy he knocked out already? Money, the dude is fighting for money. For no other reason IMO. I don't see him in title eliminators trying to get the belts, he's trying to stay busy against guys with gawdy records and get a big money bout.

Please tell me when Hopkins fought Johnson, I'd like to see how they matched up(neva happenned). Since when is Chad Dawson (one of the names Glen called for) an old boxer?? It got some crazy catz postin stuff on these sites. Coming out of virtually nowhere & str8 KOing RJJ (more devastingly then Tarver or could in 3 fights, or any other fighter) should give give Glen Johnson free reign over any top 5 in the division. He fought Tarver & lost by decision, & it wasn't convincing by anymeans. If anything Chad Dawson needs some recognized names on his resume to make him a legit champ to me, right now Dawson is about as legit a champ as Hanshaw was b4 took his stripes. Yo Glen, let'em keep duckin u, papi, thank goodness for mandatory challengers for the title. Now can u Dig Dat!!
