Rey Bum Bum Bumtista is a legend, he beat so many great mexican fighters (according to the pinoys) its time to hang em up.

will there ever be another rey "boom boom" bautista?
Yes of course, as long as the famous ALA Gym of Cebu produces boxers of the same mold and style and a forum called Pacland to hype ALA bums, there will always be a constant supply of Boom Boom Bautista-like boxers to give Philippine boxing its regular dose of humiliation in the international scene.

nah, at the very least he can make a living as a gatekeeper or a sparring partner

dont think i think of phillipino boxers all as hype, lil ****ers are warriors , i like phillino fighters but bautista is like Panchito Bojado, a mexican boxer who underachieved, Bautista is a journeyman unless he pulls out a pacquiao and motivates himself to a diffent degree with early career losses only to wind up becoming a great fighter, i doubt Bautista can do this but its not impossible, for now hes just a shamed journeyman fighter, i guess
