    Just a thought...

Do you reckon that Hatton/PBF will have a 24/7-esque documentary attached to it?

I really enjoyed watching the documentary with DLH and pretty boy and would love to hear that currently both fighters are being filmed for this kind of show.

I don't know if i'm the only one...

    Would you watch it?

Does anyone know if its in the pipeline? -hope so.

no, I wouldn't watch it. I have already seen Floyd in 24/7 with De La Hoya and HBO has covered Hatton training a few times already.

They probably will do one. I know they're doing a promotional tour of America and the U.K.

I like 24/7 too. But they wont have one for this fight. Only De La Hoya can spark that much interest/money.

i don't know though Dark Star... PBF is a popular guy in America yet is pretty unknown amongst normal folk here in England. Maybe this would be great promotion.. you know when PBF starts trash talking and throwing his money around, it'll generate some real media attention.

Maybe a 24/7 is needed to spark some interest and money. It could bring PBF into the media spotlight over in this country... and maybe bring Hatton out in yours?

Not only that... but compared to some of the **** thats on tv... this show would be entertaining in the very least? Even if only a couple of thousands watch it? - i mean... the contender series was popular of in ENgland as much as the US. It even sparked off another series US vs. UK - this could be the same no?

i can see interest for this show. Theres definately a market... surely?

i was thinking the same thing.

a 24/7 with PBF and hatton would be great.

            i'd watch it.

it adds a new level of excitement and captivates you and draws you in weeks in advance...

although i didnt need a 24/7 for PBF and de la hoya because the day the fight was announced i was excited...but 24/7 just made it 2x's better.

so im all for a 24/7...and yes i'd watch it...

but it should be a 4 week 4 episode one just like the last one...not the little 1 episode half hour ones that were created for judah/cotto and hopkins/wright.

Glad i'm not the only one! I mean - look at the furore surrounding the fight right now. Were months away from it and everyone on this site is buzzing about it. Limeys and Yanks.

I wouldnt mind the length of the episodes or the frequency... i'd be happy with whatever right now, because i haven't heard of anything happening.

it was entertaining the DLH and PBF. But i must say PBF made the show excitign with his hectic family and big mouth....whilst DLH was kinda more low-key. Rick Hatton is quite the entertainer - who does comedy dinner speeches etc..i reckon these 2 guys would make the show really really entertaining.

I must be the only one who thought that 24/7 was just too overdone. All the important **** could have been covered in a regular countdown. All the extra stuff that was added were Floyd's family problems, and Oscar De La Hoya's wife and dogs and their daily lives. I mean, all the extra **** just sort of bored me. I would like a regular countdown for it, because I haven't been following Hatton's career for a long time, so I would like to see how he has climbed through the ranks and all that.

But the purpose of 24/7 wasn't to provide "facts". It was to create a context for the fight. To create characters and to elevate the promotion to the next level. From that standpoint, they succeeded.

They shot thousands of hours of tape (according to HBO) that they ultimately condensed down to two hours.
