Its ****** the idea that Floyd even seriously retired in the first place. Utter bull**** - as soon as i heard him say it I laughed.

Its no coincidence that when PBF retired it was a warcry for other fighters to call him out and pay over the odds to pull him out of retirement. Him and his Predator look-a-like daddy.

He was retired for all of one month or something. He was hardly withdrawing pension.

First off, I think Floyd and his fans are in for a big suprise come fightnight with Hatton.

More to the point, Thats exactly what Floyd will do. You see Leonard made a career off the same ploy. mayweather seems to get every thing he does from those that came before him. His choice of opposition and shouting his supremecy is torn right from the RJJ Book, and this latest ploy is a gimmick to try to generate interist in his bouts-which will not work because he lacks the appeal Leonard had!

I'd be angry! I mean c'mon he puts his name in with Ali and SRR. He'd have to beat Hatton Cotto SSM Williams if he wants that.

not at all floyd vs mosley would be entertaining but in terms of legacy that is already set. defeating hatton is the last obstacle to greatness. beating the best fighters at each weightclass is something only floyd has done in the modern era.

To be considered G.O.A.T. he has to beat hatton and the winner of cotto/mosley. He might even have to do more but just beating those 2 would be enough for me.

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Cotto or Mosley, but he's done what he set out to do. He beat the best at 130, 135, 147, and 154 and now he's going back to beat the champ of the 140 division. He's been working towards a goal his whole career and now he's about to accomplish it. What is his motivation after that? That is the only thing that worries me about the Hatton fight. He has no motivation to train hard for Hatton because he's head and shoulders above him. I'd love to see him continue fighting, but I don't want to see him come out of retirement once a year for some money to get beat (Ex: De La Hoya) just because people want him to fight the new "flavor of the week" (Ex: Paul Williams)
