OPINION: Pavliks is the smarter fighter then Taylor. thoughts?

Pavlik and his camp come up with some great stradegies to win their fights, And Pavlik does everything neccessary to execute these game plans to the best of his ability. Even if that means going toe to toe with one of the most dangerous punchers in the sport.

Taylor may have Emanuel Steward in his corner, but Steward is useless if you dont listen to him, and thats exactly what Taylor does... he ignores him. Also, he never seems to learn as the fight goes on EVER. He's eating shot after shot against Winky Wright, but never put his hands up. And he never avoided getting caught in the corners. Hes missing shot after shot against Spinks, never thinks to use a jab or throw more punches.

I think Pavlik knows the sport of boxing better then Taylor does, even if Taylor is the more experienced guy.

I tend to agree with you. I think Taylor has a god complex going on. When Emanuel Steward gives him advice in the corner, it goes in one ear and out the other.

I think he is thinking to himself, "Yeah what ever old man, I'm the champ, I know what I'm doing..."

i agree, i've said the same things before in other posts, pavlik is a student of the game. he and his team put together real practical game plans and pavlik is a professional that commits and executes the game plan. taylor screwed the pooch in his last couple of fights by not listening and not following the game plan. i think taylor knows that pavlik isnt going to let him take his lunch and is focusing real hard on this fight, but i think it's a tougher fight for taylor because he is going to have to get hungry again and he's going to rise to this occasion, pavlik is and has already embraced it. and i think that speaks in volumes in behalf of this fight.....................

I just hope Pavlik beats him impressively. It's about time we get Taylor outta there! He's pretty boring, has nothing unique about him. I swear, how could B-hop let him win twice! Pavlik is the man, and definitely deserves to be the top dawg of the division. Enough of this Taylor bs.

i can see pavlik beating taylors ass, taylor firing steward and steward signing on to train pavlik a year or two down the road
