Bautista has SOOO much Heart!

No doubt he wanted to get up. After all the media and pressure. It was clearly a situation where his mind wanted to get up but his body said no. Maybe, just MAYBE if he hadn't jumped up so fast after the first knock down and sat for 9 seconds, he could have cleared his head just enough to survive the round, but can't say so. This was clearly a Vargas-Tito type of situation, except Vargas made it out of the round some how. Not enough experience, too young taking on a devastating puncher. He got cracked and didn't know how to deal with it.

i think thats out of the question, i mean, the referee did gave him like 5 more seconds to recover, so i dont think it wouldve made any difference...

I think he was out after the first cracking right from ponce. the referee was kind enough to give him second chance but he was gone. i credit bautista for not hitting the canvass tho. i think he could have recovered more if he let himself fall on the canvass or sit down for a while, but i think he was a sitting duck after that. that was a wicked punch from ponce.

when i saw the series of haymakers ponce let go after the bell rang, i knew bautista was in trouble. ray's machismo prevailed over brain last night. it just showed how green he still is. if he just boxed from the distance like freddie roach said and sailed through the forst three round, he could have at least made it a competitive fight.

dang, i didn't even see any thing new in his arsenal in this training camp. he needs at least 3 or 4 convincing wins to get another crack at the world title once again.

i hope ray learned his lesson well last night.

Now thinking about everything that transpired during the night, I think the Flips winning the first 5 boughts dident help bautista. U can clearly see Deleon walking to the ring like a maniac because his country men have all been defeated. and Im sure everybody was celebrating in the locker room of bautista and Maybe dident give him that sense of how much was as stake, or u better be on ur absolute "A" game fighting for a world title against a man who Just saw all his Comrades take bad losses.

Did baustista look kind of dry in the ring?I think he has a lot of heart because he knew everyone in Pi was watching, too bad he had to fail like that.

You guys see the RP telecast of the fight? The female commentator said, Oh ****! when Bautista got tagged bad by the left that sent him down the first time.

i think it was good that the ref stopped the fight even though Bautista got up again to continue cuz it could have been another Vargas-Trinidad.

Bumtista had no chance against De Leon, he sucks, his heart is useless without a chin, goodbye Bum Bum.
