he wont be president. the woman who beat him introduced a bill in congress that would give support to retiring boxers.I think he boxed and people said he was good, he sang and couple of people said he was good, he produced and his nuthunggers said he was good .
the philpinos are giveing him a hope to become a president.
anyway the politcal families in philipines are too powerful for pac.
and maybe even there are other thing in his mind like sometimes you get angery from what a guy said to you and suddenly to so something ****** but doesnt have to be striaght reaction. you know there is alot of thing happening in the gym that we dont know the real reason for his leave in til something offical comes outComment

Better to wait for any word about his return to PI. It seems coach Roach was informed after all in an interview by Brad Cooney.
Although unprofessional, he must have a valid reason, otherwise, Roach wouldn't agree to fly to Cebu to train him.
But if the reason is endorsements and shootings, to hell with Manny.Comment

I was at the fight last night and I can speak for the filipino crowd that we didn't care about Pacquiao being there. It was a great night for Penalosa and he stole the show IMO although Bautista lost so quick. I got pictures with Oscar, Donaire, Lewis, Marquez, and Leddermen so there were plenty of stars on hand. As for Pacquiao's behavior, I lost some respect for him upon reading this article...
Overall, we were starving for some boxing here in Sacramento, CA and we were glad to for this fight card being here.Last edited by Mike_Dee; 08-12-2007, 08:48 AM.Comment
