Cat Scratch Fever: "El Gato" Figueroa

By Ryan ******** - Francisco Figueroa gazed into the opposite corner after 11 frames of vicious combat at a damaged but brave Ubaldo Hernandez. Entering the twelfth round for the first time in his professional career, Figueroa, cut over the right eye from a series of headbutts, believed himself to be "one or two" points ahead on the scorecards. The average prizefighter would have taken his chances with the tallies, coasting to the final bell to await his faith from the mouth of the ring announcer. Frankie Figueroa is no average fighter. Guys as you know I'm a fan friendly guy I'll answer supporters and critic but for now I would like to say thank you for you comments you know even though I have 19 fights wow 19 that was fast lololol but I still feel as if I haven't box in years due to not having so many am fights in my career so I haven't received alot of punishment or being bored about this sport. Even though I'm 29 and I started boxing at 22 I'm still young in this sport. I haven't been through alot of beat downs so the hunger is still flaming high especially when I'm in the ring.

Once again thank you for you comments it means alot to me knowing people out there have my back outside the ring cause on the inside I got my back

got question based on you website. You say there is some boxing trick that you do that spinning thing you do at the same time ducking.

what type of training made you have this super reflex?

and what is you 5 p4p fighters ?

ever though of fighting Junior Witter, awkward style vs awkward style give alot of fun

it's call flowboating it's more a defensive tactic like what pernal did but the only difference is that it's creates opening and you have to be able to capitalize on the opening. now training i started that when I use to use kids around 10 years old to maybe 15 and just play with them defensively and when i see and opening from spinning or rotating on the balls of my feet I would fake pump an attack cause i dont want to hit the kid but yea that how It all started.

Now for my type 5 fighter I'll be honest i'm not really into all that I'm into who's the world champion or which fighter out there can generate money for a great exciting fight. Now to fight Junior Witter I've never thought about fighting him cause maybe he's overseas and since i'm not a world champion I haven't thought about that I'm mostly concentrating on the good U.S of A lololololol

But i seen in your HL i guy was throwing righthook from back of your head and you ducked? that was kinda cool and confusing at the same time.

yeah the 2nd part i agree with you. let the promoters do there job finding for fights

I was seeing a fight for Mayweather-Castillo 1 where Foreman was commetating and he said something intersting so I wanted to ask you about it too. Could fient tire an oppenet down? the i heard from Foreman in the fight he said it makes the muscle twitchs and stuff.

no you make the other guy tired.

I learned something bodyshots effect are not visiable in the beging and then it shows up in the end.

Have you watched David Diaz vs Jose Cruz and Vince Philips vs Tszyu man it show in pro boxing bodyshot is a good way to KO a person.

it easier to control and KO someone who doesnt have stamina, you thinking is messed up if you dont.

I seen the documantery about Mayweather the "soul of the champion" he is amazing guy with his ethic, I think some of the things is streched out truth. what they said that he is one of the few fighters who could think clearly even at laters rounds.

it pretty hard I trained boxing abit but i not good at it. so that is why i try not to call a fighter a bum. I am southpaw and alway cheer for southpaw fighter usally because i could use some thing in my training

Just wanted to know how do i know if my trainer is good or not because I dont know anything about other club because basicly I have for boxing is this club. I feel there is only one trainer and I rarely looked after so it not that encouraging for me to train day in and out
