    we got some amazing fights this year, is 2007 the best year in boxing since the new millineum

    This is the best year in a LONG time if it winds up being better than 2000 (which was awesome) but not the best year ever. 1982 had Chacon in a FOTY; Pryor-Arguello I and Holmes-Cooney among others; 1938 was SICK with Armstrong winning the light and welter crowns and Louis-Schmeling II. I can go on and on. Still this year is probably the most balanced since boxing went to 17 classes with at least one epic matchup in about 13 or 14 of the divisions and multiple awesome matches in some key weights below heavy (47, 60, 75).
