lol joe's punches are too soft. he's nothing like ali, has no sting like ali, and doesnt even have a fraction of head movement that ali had.

Joe's offense is too soft, he leaves his chin out like sweet pickings, and his leg movement is predictable.

Hopkins eats this guy up, with brutal shots.

only thing thats left to be seen, is if joe has a chin.
Hopkins throws around 1 or 2 "brutal" shots a fight, and they usually miss

the point is, both joe and those former feather/welter weights punches are soft.

taylor punches with more conviction then joe, and that is infact a diss. hopkins ate taylors punch up.

only way joe beats hopkins, is if he slaps his way to victory like sweet pea, and joes legs dont even move with the same effect to do that.

Calzaghe can try and beat Hopkins but Hopkins is to gully and ruthless now if he had that same killer instinct against Taylor he'd prolly still be MW champ! da dude has gotten meaner stronger and gullier all in the midst of loseing his belt and not regaining it

The only thing calzaghe would need to be worried about is hopkins' head.

id say 1 to 2 brutal shots every 2 or 3 rounds.

he gambles more with weaker punchers.

I would still favor Calzaghe, but Hopkins would certainly have a chance because he's so good strategically, mentally, and he'll use every dirty trick in the book. The fight will never happen, though...

lol i understand your clazahghe fans..(cant spell his name at 7 in the morning)

but i seriously dont think joe can beat hopkins. but im basing this on a feeling that joe doesnt have a p4p chin.

hopkins is callin this guy out for reason, he see's what joe has and doesnt have.

thats what im sayin, the guy is too precise.

i hope it happens though, cause anythings possible. for all we know, joe comes through and fends hopkins off with some of that activity.

it's not like joe is a boring fighter, or that hopkins is borning when he gets pressured.

this fight would be worth the PPV if it had a nice undercard.

hopkins should go third time lucky against Taylor...calzaghe...sud go up to light heavy...fight a title holder..n reitre wotever the outcome.

I see defeats for both of them if they hang around any longer then 12-18 months

The fact is this fight will probley happen if Calzaghe beats Kessler and Hopkins can be patient! The outcome however i think is evident to everyone, Joe Calzaghe is a fast punching touch-them-glove fighter, meaning he relys more on his ability to land shots with accuracy coming from his shoulders rather then his body in most instances! Hopkins on the other hand is a ribid vet with tricks up his sleves, one of the best D's, questionaly the best counter right in the game, and we know his bigger and stronger then Calzaghe and with his recent gameplan to try an bully and stay close, I dont think Joe could deal with the constant in and out pressure that B_hop dishes out and would ultimatly get beat like Winky did maybe a little worst since his D isnt as good!
