If Joe Calzaghe beats Kessler his next opponent looks like it will be Bernard Hopkins. I think this will make a great match up but who will win? Calzaghe is a great fighter and has a undefeated record and also has beaten Eubanks record for most defences of his WBO crown. But has he been tested? The only match that was a real test for Calzaghe was the Eubank fight 10 years ago. The rest he has dominated like his best performance against Lacy and that performance was superb. Hopkins is a legend already in boxing he has had fights with many of the top boxers in the business. He has beaten Felix Trinidad and Glen Johnsen by TKO, De la hoya by KO, outclassed Antonio Tarver and just beat Winky Wright and he was undisputed middleweight champion for 10 years. But Hopkins has been beaten by a Roy Jones Jnr in his prime and was beaten by Taylor twice (which i think he was robbed) to end his 10 year run as champion. Hopkins is 42 years old now can he keep up with Calzaghe's work rate? Can Calzaghe cope with a fighter that could be the pound for pound best? What do you think?

I think one straight right from Hopkins will litterally bring fire works.
Calzaghe is dangly, chin is always out for short fast punches. I think Hopkins, if he's not tentative or actin like a jumpy cat in the ring, I think Hopkins can ruin this guy. -
no chance, id give hopkins very little chance of winning this fight. his only hope would be calzaghe breaking his hand.Comment

Hopkins really has very little chance, especially now, at his age....
Calzaghe is , bigger, faster, higher work rate..
He won't get KO'd in a million years....
He'll score points more per round, if he doesn't finish Hopkins first...
The Best Hopkins would do is make the fight an ugly afair to last 12 rounds...
Calzaghe would like to fight Hopkins , just for the name....but people won't give him credit for the win...Comment

ermmm...if u ever watch calzaghe...or even study boxing...even a tiny bit...you'l know calzaghe is very much a counter puncher...his 'dangling' of his chin..is to draw his opponent out..givehim something to try and hit....he doesnt hang nhis chin out because he is flawed technique wise..he does it to bring his opponent in...how that can be called a weakness..especially given he has never been knocked out in his career....is beyond me......tho it is a fight id like to see...calzaghe will win....would prefer to see him move to light heavy..n test himself there..Comment

NOT ONE SINGLE FIGHTER with a significant quick punch. Granted, the Lacy fight was a huge win for Joe, but what did Jeff do to test Joe? lol nothing..No defense, or precise offense. He got slapped to death..
Hopkins is cold blooded and precise. Joe's chin dangles out there for a fighter like Hopkins. If Bernard's nerves hold steady, and he doesnt try to "Box" Joe, but go for the kill....I got Hopkins by KO or decision with a knock down or two.
