Cotto is a BAD fight for Clottey. Cintron is much better.

Im becoming a big Clottey fan, he's one of my favorite welterweights.

But Cotto is a terrible fight for him. everytime he fights he tends to stand right in front of his man with his guard up. He cannot be hit in the face when he does this, but his body is a bit open, especially for the live shots.

Cotto would be ripping to the body all night, and he'd probably stop Clottey with a body shot.

Cintrons best asset is his power. Clottey has an amazing chin, and its near impossible to hit him in the face with his guard up. I think he decisions Cintron in a great fight.

i agree that cintron is a better opponent. last night Clottey was getting worked in the body and even got hurt a little...if that was cotto, that fight would of ended by the 6th round.

if that is the case they would go fight clottey and keep cotto safe as possible, but none of these fight would happen unless cotto loses to Mosley, Cotto is booked til 09 imo mosley, Old Greedy, PBF , and Hatton first choice if they both lost

This is exactly why I have been saying Cotto would beat him. He fights in spurts it seems, and sometimes he will just sit back with his hands up and let the other guy tee off on him. Cotto will break him down like that I'm positive.

Since when were Cotto and Clottey going to fight? I'd pick Cotto too. Maybe Clottey's handspeed or maybe power could give Cotto problems, but I think Cotto would win.

If the rumored Margarito/Judah fight actually goes down then Cintron/Clottey is the only thing that makes sense. Clottey deserves a shot, and Cintron is ready to step up. They should get it done.

Just two more great fights in a loaded Welterweight division.

I think they're both tough for Clottey and Cintron at least is taller and has more reach than Cotto. However, he's not known as a great body puncher but I'm sure Stewart would train him to go to the body a lot in that fight.

                  .....

Clottey's lack of power is going to catch up with him again. Plus he slaps and throws arm punches to much. Power? he has no power.

Im becoming a big Clottey fan too. Had he not broke his hand I think he would have won the Margarito fight.

On another site I read an interveiw where Zab was sayin he ran Clottey out of a gym. When Clottey heard it all he said was " Thats not true but I will be glad to hurt him." I hope that fight gets made, I think Clottey will break him down and outwork him. On a side note that VS show last night wasnt too bad.
