Ibragimov-Holyfield To Likely Land on ESPN

    I think thats great news.

I think thats an entertaining Heavyweight fight. And its good for the sport that its being aired on a mainstream network.

Good for whoever is involved in making this happen, they deserve a lot of credit.

Unless of coarse... they decide to put it on ESPN PPV

i guess im happy ill be able to see it but im not so sure its a great thing for boxing

for one, if ESPN is gonna try to capture the casual fans these are the last two guys they should be showing a guy with no future (holy) and one w/ no american marketability (ibrag)

people are gonna be saying "WTF, evander holyfield??? how old is that guy now?"

and then hes gonna get his ass beat and america will just go on thinking boxing is a joke after they had to watch a 45 year old fight for a world title

This would be very cool if ESPN broadcast this fight free with Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore calling it. Hope your sources are right Kball...

I hope it's broadcast on the regular network but I have a bad feeling it will be on PPV.

HBO will be better off airing this.

Holyfield has been a top player in boxing for three decades! he's crazy, god the bowe fights, tyson fights, lewis fights, (forget the Ruiz fights) this guy is gonna lose and then he should retire, for the love of god.

I have enjoyed Holyfield through out the years and i would love for the guy to win a 5th heavyweight title. I can see him doing it because the last thing you can put an age on is your heart. Good luck Evander!
