Id leave it up to Penalosa to surprise us. Aside from his age, I think he is underrated for this fight as he was with De Leon. Roach isnt a betting man but put money on Gerry P. Just as he did with Pac againts Mab, so thats a good indication. You gotta read the trend. Pinoys are always overly underrated than the odds should be. Gerry P./De Leon was alot closer, so was Amonsot/Katsidis, Donaire/Darchinyan, Mab/Pac, Gorres/Monties(robbery). Fight always turn out more competitive that people think it is. People havent seen too much of Gerry or any Pinoys. I'm just smiling on Gerry P. vs. Gonzales, I aint gonna say anything but I just have a grin about the odds in that fight.

I aint gonna lie. Im Filipino and proud. I would like our country to win. Who wouldnt want their own country to win. Filipino's havent had recognition really in any sport. At least outside of the Philippines. So it would be a nice and welcoming change. But more than anything... I will be there and expect to see some great fights. Win or Lose its gonna be awesome!

Why opt for a fight with an almost certain conlusion rather than the excitment of the uncertainty of the world cup? I like fights that get my adrenaline pumpin and emotions going. There are at least 4 fights that will do that in the WC.

Ortiz vs. Gorres is a good fight because Ortiz is a former champ.
Penalosa vs. Gonzales/Bautista vs. PDL will be a nail bitters
Domngo vs. Roman -keep pinoys on ther toes hoping for an upset

Almost certain Gabi and Banal will win.

Less $$$$ than Pac/mab live. I woulda went but my bro is getting married. Have to settle for a DVR recording after the reception. Im not gonna log into the net to see who won though.
