What if KELLY PAVLIK says NO to a rematch?

Lets just say that Pavlik gets battered around the ring for 11 rounds, and then miraculously knocks Taylor out with a single shot in the 12th.

And then he says, hell no im not fighting that guy again, id be beaten up again. u know? What happens?

Does he lose his titles, does he get fined, what happens?

you can't get fined for that, it would be all in the contract,
JT is the champ so im assuming there will be a re-match clause in there

Are there re-match clauses for mandatory defenses? If it is close and Pavilk wins, the WBC will probably order a rematch but that is not guaranteed.

there will be no rematch because taylor will win and move up to supermiddle and win the belts there. just wait and see. its not a hard fight to judge who will win. so taylor looked horrible last time out. He has beat 2 hof'er on my scorecards. who did pav beat? a overrated , weight drained edison miranda...its a good fight for boxing , but not for pavlik.

** What if you get mugged before they fight and lose all brain function from repeated blows to the head. What happens then?

re-match but if pavlik wins, is not an option for him...obvoulsly it depends on the outcome and promoters have to meet so on and so forth

                    Why's it?

Because Taylor is a young, black Afro American fighter, therefore unbeatable?
