And your right. Floyd will just dance and run all night. but Hattons constant pressure will cathc up to him in the end. at which point he will box Hatton and win a UD
    Dude

There was no malice intended. I'm sat here having a beer and a laugh. I wan't meaning to be confrontational. PM me if there's a problem. I hate making enemies.

I think Manfredy boxed like Hatton does (maybe it was Chavez, I can't remember), but I just see Ricky coming unstuck. We'll see.

    Regards, bud.

As for the Gatti situation - he was never all that good? Check out a couple scraps he had at the Boardwalk, and one in Uncasville Connecticut against a guy called Micky Ward, and then get back to me.
Pathetic. Different weights, too long ago and none of them were exactly stunning knock outs. He beat them, credit for that, but none of them were the kind of lasting flogging that people seem to think he'll be capable of giving to Hatton.

As for Gatti, the whole point about his epic encounters with Ward was that they were exceptional fights featuring two unexceptional fighters. Neither Gatti nor Ward were ever close to the level that Hatton is currently on.

          No problem.

As regards the Ian Ian incident at the bottom of my message, well, I think the beer has kicked in.

          Nice one

There ain't too many 'exceptional' fighters in the sport today (or for the last ten years). There are a lot of great, damn good fighters there today (who I will name if you request), but there aren't very many exceptional fighters around today. I can name you one. I can also name you a dozen still active who were...and like I said, I could name you some cracking boxers, but none are exceptional. I might give you Pacman in addition to the obvious one alluded to above.

Hatton will be eating plenty of shots in this fight but it wont be a beating like Corrales or Manfredy suffered. Ricky is a clever fighter and will tie Floyd up if he starts taking too many shots. But in doing that blowing his chances at winning. As for the "revolutionary war" reference, you have been watching too many Mel Gibson films.

Gatti and Ward werent even great fighters if you are considering the P4P 5 through 20 to be 'great'.

I can see him taking shots but he wont get the crap beat out of him. It won't be another Gatti situation. Gatti couldn't box or cut off the ring so thats how he got his ass whipped. At least hatton will be able to pressure mayweather and make it a more interesting fight. He's gonna have to do that cause Mayweather is not gonna stand still.

I think this thread might have got a bit lost.
