    What's with the Malignaggi hate?

So what he has funny hair, he comes to fight. Everyone always says he should STFU because he lost to Cotto, but unlike Judah and Quintana, Malignaggi went the distance. Malignaggi didn't ***** out and stop fighting, he went the distance and won a few rounds. The scores were 115-112, 116-111, and 116-111. That was hardly the blowout that everyone makes it to be.

Could your favorite fighter make it to the bell in a close fight with a bigger man looking the way he did? Malignaggi has balls. Respect that.

But he's respectful about it. He doesn't put down any fighters and always approaches his foes with respect. So what he talks a lot, are you actually getting exciting when a fighter says "I do my talking in the ring?"

I respect and even like the guy.

But a couple of things to justify my previous posts about him and the prospect fight against Chavez Jr.

        1. I don't always approve of Paulie's trash talking. Some of what he said was really tasteless and out of character. He's not a bad guy, he's a respectful, intelligent guy acting like a bad guy.

        2. I don't agree with people claiming that he's beat "10x" the opposition Jr has.......because that's nonsense. His biggest showing was a losing effort against Cotto where he was beat up, and he followed that with a step up win in comparison to his previous opponents outside of Cotto. Those two respective fights (Ndou, Cotto) don't in my book give him the right to claim he's leauges above Chavez, no should his supporters.

        3. He's a slick boxer, speedy and highly skilled. I'll leave it at that.

He's alright but he dances around too much and talks **** like he is some kind of puncher......other than that he's ok....I don't find him very entertaining to watch personally tho.

dont make it seem like Quintana and Judah bitched out. They both showed a lot of heart and took tremedous beatings.

But yea, i like malignaggi and i hope he gets the winner of chavez-gomez. thats a hell of a fight

I never said Quintana and Judah bitched out, I just said that they couldn't go the distance with Cotto.

Chavez-Gomez winner is definitely an excellent matchup with Malignaggi. Malignaggi isn't exactly Pernell Whitaker, so it's an even kind of fight.

                Thank you.

Jesus that was my one and only point since this fight became a discussion.

If they rip Mayweather for talking, then no one on the planet should support Malignaggi, who has no big wins, no KO power, and only one meaningless belt.

                  I, however, support both guys.

Yeah everyone reading this, just forget you did.

Paulie doesn't randomly attack figures in the sport who he's never going to fight. That's what separates the two.

One goes out of his way to degrade everyone around him, and the other just acts like a bad guy to hype up a prospect fight.
