Sigh.. The only reason Jones lost the Johnson fight was because he feared being hit with THE punch. He wasn't fighting back a lot of the time because of it. Tarver II ****ed up his mind. He had no business fighting after that without taking time off. Even Steward mentions his fearing the big punch during this fight if I remember right.Comment

I recently saw the Hanshaw fight and I thought Roy looked decent in there with a 29 year old fighter who tried the usual 'mug a Roy' tactic that many believe is the way to beat the aging Jones these days.
I thought Roy has regained some of his old confidence and he seems pretty adept at fighting off the ropes when he actually does throw his hand (he got the KD in the 11th off the ropes). If Roy brings his balls and REALLY conditions himself to go 12 with Glencoffe then I can see him possibly pulling off a decision. Glen is still easy to hit and Roy still has his handspeed, but with much less output.Comment

Jones Jnr has tarnished his legacy by fighting on and getting horribly schooled by film stars like Antonio Tarver. In fact, he doesn't even have a legacy anymore. I considered him no better than a journeyman fighter.
I would like to see Carl "The Cat" Thompson retire him for good. It wouldn't go past 3 rounds. Thompson is the fighter Jones Jnr could have been.Comment

I've NEVER seen Roy come into a fight out of shape, the man is a machine, I actually think Johnson will try to pressure him like he did in the first fight and get caught with combos from Roy all night to an easy decision, I can't see "The Road Warrior" getting KO'd though.I recently saw the Hanshaw fight and I thought Roy looked decent in there with a 29 year old fighter who tried the usual 'mug a Roy' tactic that many believe is the way to beat the aging Jones these days.
